Lacoste Fall 2009...wtf? It hurts my eyes!

I am usually in love with the new Lacoste collections, with all their preppy goodness. But this year's fall 2009 collection was hideous! What was Christophe Lemaire thinking???

Proenza Schouler my love...

I absolutely adore Proenzer Schouler, and I particularly love their new range of bags. This bag is fantastic and if I had the money, I would get one in an instant!

I want to be a Super hero!

I want a cape. In the past I have hated them with a passion but recently, I'm not entirely sure why, but I've started to really want one! And this pic taken by the Sartorialist at New York Fashion Week has confirmed my craving to be a super hero and to have a cape of my very own! I cant help to think that i might look like a great big potato in it though.....

What I'm loving....

I LOVE lip gloss but recently I've been a bit frustrated at how easily it wears off and how so many lip glosses are quite coloured in the pot but fail to produce the same colour once being worn. So Rach and I have been on a quest to find the perfect lip stain. We found that it was almost impossible to find a decent stain, one that doesnt run into the cracks of your lips. So the other day I found a product thats half stain, half gloss....seems like the perfect compromise! Its by Laura Mercier. Unfortunately for people that like bright vibrant colours, the lip stain comes in mostly earthy colours. The stains retail for $40. Im in love with Mulberry (colour shown in pic).

I also tried to look at the new Giorgio Armani lip wax, but alas they weren't in stock. Before I purchase the Laura Mercier lip stain I will have to try the lip wax. God I'm a sucker for the packaging of Giorgio Armani beauty products. It could be sh*t in a tube but if its in the Giorgio armani package I would buy it! (lol...just kidding...but you know what I mean!). And for those of you wanting vibrant colour (I'm talking to you Rach), take a look at this pink lip wax from the range. Im not sure how much it costs though, let me know if you do!

Swedish Design!

I want to move to Sweden! Swedish design is the epitome of simple & stylish. Recently I've come across some brands that I adore, Filippa K and Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair (oh how i love this name!). Unfortunately both brands are somewhat out of my price range, but I've included some of the new seasons designs from Fifth Avenue shoe repair so you can get an idea of their style.
Ps. I bet Rach will love the coat with the bow!

Morrison

I am in love with Morrison, a Perth-based brand. I first discovered Morrison on the east coast and was thrilled to find that it was based in WA, where I was moving to!
Their designs are simply beautiful, no only words can describe them. They are chic, feminine and simple; everything I want my clothes to be.
I went on their website recently and was pleased to discover pictures of their new winter collection! I wasn't as impressed with it as I have been with past collections, but they are still divine!

I want one of their long, grey cardigans and a scarf ASAP!
